With a tourist attendance of more than 2 million visitors each year, Marrakech is one of the most popular Moroccan cities with foreigners, especially the French. Between the traditional souks and markets, the lush gardens and the impressive mosques of the city, Marrakech has a lot to offer to many visitors who dare to think outside the box and explore the maze of winding narrow streets of the Medina. Marrakech is also very lively at night. Be careful, during the Ramadan periods, the city is much quieter and the clubs are generally closed. There are 3 neighborhoods to be privileged to go out at night: in the city center, the district of Hivernage gathers the main clubs of the city; you will also find some clubs around hotels in the south of the city, next to the airport; not to mention the famous Palm Grove, which combines upscale hotels, vibrant nightlife and relaxation in a lush oasis.

The most spoken language in Morocco is Arabic but because of its history, you will have no difficulty in making yourself understood in French. On the other hand, English is hardly spoken by Moroccans. Francophones will have no problem communicating and anglophones will have to talk with their hands!
