A few kilometers from Koh Samui, the famous island of Koh Phangan, where is happening the most famous Asian party : The Full Moon Party. It takes place every month and it is very easily accessible from Koh Samui, can't miss one of the best parties in the world!
For this destination, we favored the Eastern part of the island and more precisely the city of Chaweng. It is the most touristic and lively city on the island. The city of Chaweng is famous for its beautiful beach, along the city, but especially for its nightlife. One big and long street of Chaweng Beach is entirely composed of restaurants, shops, bars and clubs of all kinds. It's the perfect combination of relaxation and sun during the day, then parties and fun during the night. All chosen hotels are close to the sea and the center of the nightlife. You will find hotels for every possible budget.
On the neighboring island of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, takes place each month for one night, the FULL MOON PARTY. A world famous party where each time a huge crowd but an atmosphere that you will not see anywhere else. This is the inevitable clubbing of the destination!

Where to take the ferry?
The ferry will take you to Haad Rin beach. The crossing time is about 30 minutes and costs about 300-400 baht or between 8 and 10 €. You will find many ports near your hotels that go back and forth with Koh Phangan but the main ones are Bo Phut and Nathon. The ports are minutes away from the hotels.
Tip: Book in advance the crossings on the internet, or then make a few days at the ports afiin to book your crossings.
Samui First House Hotel
This 3 star hotel is one of the cheapest Chaweng hotels. Yet it enjoys a very good reputation. It is ideally placed close to the sea (1 minute from the beach) and 1 km from the nightlife of the city. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a swimming pool in the middle of the courtyard. The rooms are simple and all are equipped with a bathroom, tv, minibar. Some rooms have a private balcony.
Tango Beach Resort
This 3-star hotel is ideally located on the seafront and within walking distance of Chaweng's bustling shopping street, Great value for money. Outdoor pool in the hotel's gardens. The hotel has a restaurant and a beach bar. The rooms all have a private en-suite bathroom, a TV, a minibar and a safe box.
Ark Bar Beach Resort
This hotel is without doubt the best for those seeking clubbing sensations. Indeed, it is ideally located on the seaside and 50 meters from the nightlife of the city. With 3 outdoor pools and 4 beachside bars, this is the perfect place for a beach party. Non-stop music from 14pm to 02am. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one of which is on the beach. The rooms are all private, a bathroom, a television, a safe box.
Baan Haad Ngam Resort
This 4-star hotel is located by the sea and 1.5 km from the nightlife of the city. It is a resort that offers quality beachfront accommodation. The hotel has an infinity pool and a restaurant serving Thai, Italian and international specialties. There is also a bar. Situated close to the sea, this hotel is just 700 meters from the city's nightlife. It has two large pools in a beautiful garden. The hotel has a gym, a diving center and a spa. For dining, it has 2 restaurants and 2 snacks / bars. Rooms are modern and air conditioned. They feature a fully equipped bathroom, a balcony, a TV and a safe.
Centara Grand Beach Resort
Simply one of the most beautiful hotels in Chaweng. This 5-star hotel, located right in the center of Chaweng Beach, is at 1 km from the city's nightlife. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, right by the sea, between sand and coconut trees. You will have the choice to dine in its many restaurants and bars, indoor and outdoor. The rooms are facing the sea with a private balcony. The hotel has a spa and a fitness center. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms fully equipped.
Don't forget to bring a European adapter for electrical outlets. All rooms are non-smoking.

The climate :
The climate in Thailand is tropical and has 3 seasons, with a wet season from June to the end of October. The weather during the wet season remains generally sunny but sometimes heavy thunderstorms are expected (1 hour to 3 hours of rain per day). The country enjoys a temperature of around 30 degrees all year round.
The first language in Thailand is Thai, but other languages exist. In hotels, cities, they understand English, in the simplest way. It’s advisable to buy a French/Thai dictionary to be quiet on the spot.
The currency used in Thailand is the Baht. It's advisable to always have cash and to avoid as much as possible withdrawing at ATMs to avoid fees. The current exchange rate as of November 2017 is : 1€ = 38 Baht 1$ = 33 Baht
