The nearest town to Zrce beach is called Novalja. It is less than 3 kilometers from the beach and can be reached by a shuttle that picks up all the clubbers from Novalja before taking them to the beach. As long as the clubs are open, the shuttle runs. There are departures approximately every 20 minutes from several locations in the city and you can book it as an option.
Spring breakers generally spend their stay in the many apartments in the city. We therefore offer apartments with capacities ranging from 2 to 6 people. They are all located in Novalja within 10 minutes walk from the departure of the shuttle going to Zrce. To allow us to offer you the most interesting rates, we offer you "mystery" apartments and you will therefore not have the exact location of the accommodation before your reservation. All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Bath towels and bed linen are included. The living room is usually equipped with a sofa bed and counts as a bedroom. The Premium apartments are newer with a nice decoration and more comfortable bedding than the Standard apartments.
The Novalja clubs are open every day for after beach parties from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then for parties from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. In the afternoons, all the clubs are freely accessible for a gigantic pool party skillfully mixed by one of the resident or international DJs during the various summer festivals. The price of admission in the evening depends on the line up and the festival in progress. There is no dress code to enter Zrce clubs, without a t-shirt and flip flops, it works too!
papaya
The Papaya quickly established itself as the island's must-see nightclub. All the ingredients are there to spend an unforgettable moment: a real place dedicated to partying, with 3000 m2 of swimming pools, bars, dancefloors and podiums, thus offering you a unique outdoor space to enjoy both the pleasures of a club without forgetting that you are only a few meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
His line-up never ceases to impress. This temple of music, often full of beautiful people, should therefore be an inevitable stopover during your stay on the island of Pag! Finally, the price of drinks remains very affordable: three euros for a beer, six to eight for a cocktail and one hundred and thirty for a bottle with table.
Calypso
The oldest nightclub on the island (opened in 1988) both prophesied the emergence of this corner of paradise and contributed to its realization. Although opening two decades before its future competitors, the Kalypso has managed to preserve all the assets of its success. It therefore welcomes festival-goers all day long to enjoy the sun, the azure water, but also music in a relaxed atmosphere on comfortable sun beds in the shade of the trees around which the club was built. It's a real cocoon whose line ups have nothing to envy to the greatest of the genre.
noa
The NOA Beach Club is a trendy nightclub that boasts top-notch programming, a high-performance sound system, a laser show, a dance show and five bars, among others. This club, which is built directly on a pontoon above the sea, will make you see all the colors with insane after beach parties and trampolines strategically placed all around the club for those who want a little momentum to throw themselves into the sea between two drinks or even those who prefer to take the opportunity to take a nap in the sun.
Aquarius
The fourth largest club on Zrce beach, it is, like Papaya, a club originally based in Zagreb which was later exported to this beach now highly coveted by European clubbers. With, among other things, a restaurant, a beach bar and a pizzeria open until dawn, the Aquarius is thus frequented daily by a large number of holidaymakers, who have certainly heard of its famous evenings. giant mosses. You will find the craziest after beach parties on the beach, everything is allowed at the Aquarius!
Zrce beach offers a fairly wide range of activities, more or less sporting, such as banana boat, towed buoys, jet ski (count 60 euros for one hour), parasailing, bungee jumping, blob jumping and cable wakeboarding. You will therefore have every opportunity to show that you are not only the king of the dance floor, but also a proven sportsman. Boat parties are very often organized from the center of Novalja. It won't be every day at the start of the season as there is often quite a bit of wind around the island.
Like the vast majority of beaches in Croatia, Zrce is a pebble beach, which means that walking barefoot may hurt a little more than expected. So plan adapted shoes or sandals, it's not sexy but you will thank us!
CLIMATE
The best time to go to Novalja is between May and September. The island enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot summers. We often have good surprises in May/June since the temperatures can reach 30-35°C during the day. Still plan something slightly warmer for the evening because of the wind on the island, it tends to cool down a little when night falls. If it traditionally rains every year during the Sonus Festival (last week of August), you can rest easy for the rest of the season, it usually rains very very little and the weather is incredible.
LANGUAGE
We are in Croatia, so the locals mainly speak Croatian. Those who are in contact with holidaymakers (bars, restaurants, clubs and souvenir shops) speak relatively good English. You should not expect them to answer you in French, however. The seaside resort living exclusively from tourism during the summer months, it will not be uncommon to find menus translated into several languages in the restaurants.
CURRENCY
The currency is the Croatian Kuna. Croatia does not have the Euro and we do not advise you to try to pay with Euros because most of the time, either the merchants will refuse them, or you will pay much more. The exchange rate at the airport is not interesting, it is better to withdraw money directly on the spot in the many distributors of the city. The deposit for the apartments being returned at the exit if everything went well, it is advisable to provide this exact amount in cash and in euros before your arrival.
IMPORTANT: You must check with the consulate of the country of destination if a visa is required, but also with any countries crossed if a transit visa is necessary.
