The Dominican Republic is a small piece of paradise that is shared with Haiti, the island called "Hispaniola". It is the second largest island in the Caribbean, after Cuba. Described as one of the most beautiful islands in the world, the Dominican Republic has forged its reputation across the globe, thanks to its incredible landscapes. Beautiful beaches of white sand, turquoise water: the whole country is a seaside resort. It is the ideal destination to rest and refuel.
The Dominican Republic is not limited to its own natural wealth. The cities of the country especially, its capital Santo Domingo, convey the past of the colonial empire and its history. Indeed, the Dominican Republic is the first country to have received Christopher Colombus, and its traces are visible on the entire island. The island is full of history.
For this destination, we chose to take you to 3 different paradisiacal locations on the island.
The most popular seaside resort in the Caribbean. It is located at the western tip of the island. A postcard landscape.
Puerto Plata is the second town we have chosen. It is also very popular with tourists from around the world. It is located in the North of the country, along the beach Dorada.
The Samana Peninsula is one of the most beautiful corners that the Dominican Republic can offer. Indeed, it is a part of the island where the climate is a little wetter than the rest of the island. As a result, nature is much richer and voluminous, mixing mountains, forests, wild beaches and authentic villages. It is a less touristy area than Punta Cana and Puerto Plata.
