Generator Hostel
The Hostel has a great architecture and highly prized for its location in Amsterdam. All budgets will easily find their room. The atmosphere, young, festive and relaxed makes the establishment a very pleasant place for an unforgettable stay full of new encounters. You can reach the center of Amsterdam very easily by crossing the canals or by getting on the tramway number 9.
Wifi access is free, which will help keeping you connected during your stay. While waiting for your flight, your train or your bus, you can also enjoy a luggage service.
Rooms
The Sky Suite (1 to 6 people) - It is on the top floor of the building and offers an incredible view of the Oosterpark in a luxurious apartment. It includes a living room and two separate bedrooms with toiletries, towels, long mirror, hairdryer and a kitchen.
Quad premium room - It accommodates up to 4 people, with private bathroom, two single beds and a bunk bed, long mirror, lockers and USB plug to each bed.
Quad room - up to 4 people, with private bathroom, two bunk beds, long mirror, lockers and USB plug to each bed. Towels can be rented.
Private double and twin rooms - With private bathroom, toiletries, towels and long mirror.
Shared rooms (maximum 4 persons) - Bunk beds. One bathroom in each dormitory, with long mirror. Each dormitory has one locker per person and a small partition at the head, a USB plug and a bedside lamp on each bed. Towels are optional.
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out until 10am.

No need to introduce you to the world capital of electronic music which saw the birth of the musical genre before it was exported abroad. The Dutch have the biggest DJs, countless parties all year round and even 24h/24 every weekend in some places! Besides being a cradle for electronic music, Amsterdam is also considered the cultural capital of the country. There are many museums of international renown. Its famous Red Light District and its coffee shops attract millions of tourists every year who come to experience the pleasures of a city often cited as one of the most pleasant to live in. Small independent breweries cross multinational giants like Heineken and make the city a popular destination for lovers of good draught. The concentric canals of the city are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage and give the city its nickname of Venice of the North.
The Generator Hostel is located in the eastern part of the city center. Some of the rooms have great views over the Oosterpark. This 168 rooms hostel offers shared dormitories for small budgets, but also private, twin, double or quadruple rooms, as well as a luxurious 6-person apartment with kitchen. The building with has a resolutely modern design and keeps visible traces of its past since it is the old building of the university of zoology.
The Generator offers a friendly hostel concept where everything is made to encourage exchange. There is an outdoor terrace, a spacious lounge and a bar in the former amphitheater. There is even a secret bar where the old boiler room was.
Caution: Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the same room.
You can book your bed or room with or without breakfast. Nescio Cafe - Open from 8am to noon - Breakfast, snacks and lunch , American breakfast in sweet version (pancakes, french toast) and salty (eggs, avocado, bagel bagel etc ...)
For snacks and lunch: choice of sandwiches, burgers, bagels, nachos, pizza and dish of the day
Nescio Bar - Open from 9pm - You will find the coffee menu for dinner and a choice of juices, spirits, beers, wines and soda
