Mexico is a dream for many of us thanks to its incredible landscapes and its well-established history. Cancun is the starting point for many visits and the hotspot of the party in Mexico. You will find the perfect mix between relaxation, adventures and parties!
The busiest area of Cancun is of course the nightclubs area, commonly known as the "Party Center". It is in this district that you will find the concentration of clubs, bars, restaurants and various shops. The neighborhood is easily accessible from your hotel using the numerous taxis present in the zone but especially by bus, on both sides of the road. There are buses every 5 minutes or sometimes 2 minutes, 24 hours a day and they reach all hotels of the « Zona Hotelera ».
The hotels have been chosen to suit all possible budgets. They are all ideally close to the sea and the nightlife of Playa del Carmen.
You can directly add to your reservation the airport transfer to take you from Cancun Airport (20min to join your hotel). The return is included. Airport transfer is only possible if you book flights in your package.

You have to visit one of the seven wonders of the world when you are passing through the city of Cancun. The occasion might not present itself again so it is strongly advised to go see this jewel of the Mexican civilization between two nights out. Chichen Itza is a city lost in the middle of the Yucatan Forest, located an hour drive from Cancun. You can book the excursion directly on spot, at your hotel or in the streets of Cancun, where you can not miss the salesmen. Several choices will be possible for you (including or excluding meals, with detour in the famous Cenote of Ikk Kill or not).

The archaeological site of Tulum is an ancient Mayan city. It has the distinction of being the only one located by the sea. Tulum offers without doubt the best photo spot of all the region, known worldwide. The vestige of a temple, at the edge of a cliff, along its turquoise water. The color mix is impressive. For the historical part, it is there that the Mayans saw for the first time the Spanish ships. You will also have the opportunity to bathe, just below the temple, in one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Xcaret is now a must see in the region. Indeed, Xcaret is both a natural reserve, archaeological site and amusement park where activities abound. This is the flagship place where swimming with dolphins is practiced. It is also possible to feed sharks in the Caribbean Sea. An incredible experience in crystal clear waters and underground caves where light pierces the walls. Excursion possible from your hotel or vendors in the streets of Cancun.
Cancun is not the most famous city in terms of Spring Break for nothing. Mexico, cradle of the Maya and Aztec civilizations is known worldwide for its historical appeal but not only. Mexico has many other assets. It is often presented as a paradise on earth but ruined by a bad reputation linked to banditry. This is absolutely not the case of the Quintana Roo Region and Riviera Maya, where you will not find more welcoming than the people of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Here are some tips and information for your next vacation:
In Cancun, you will never be cold, no matter the time of year, even in the evening thanks to the tropical climate of the country. A hot and humid season from May to October leave room to a dry season from November to April. The temperature is around 30 degrees throughout the year.
The language spoken in Mexico is obviously Spanish but you will have no difficulty yourself understood in English.
The currency used in Cancun is the peso. However, you can also pay in dollars, both currencies are accepted in the city of Cancun. (Tip: favor the peso, prices are generally more expensive in dollars than in pesos) Avoid if possible exchanging your money at the airport, the exchange rate is often better in hotels (if possible) and banks.
1 € = 22 pesos / 1 $ = 19 pesos (rate at the beginning of September 2018)
