CLIMATE
The climate is generally warm and mild all year round, with little variation. The hottest months are July and August (30ºC maximum, 16ºC minimum), while the coldest are January and February (15ºC maximum, 3ºC minimum).


LANGUAGE
We are in Spain, more precisely in the region of Catalonia, where the official languages are Catalan and Spanish. Due to the tourist nature of the city, many locals also speak other languages, such as English and French. However, English is the preferred language.


CURRENCY
The currency is the euro, which can be exchanged in the city's banks, savings banks, ATMs and exchange offices. Please note that some banks charge fees for withdrawals and payments. It's advisable to contact your bank before your trip for information on charges applicable abroad. For the French, there should be no minimum charge for cash withdrawals from ATMs.

Check with the consulate of your destination country to see whether a residence visa is required, and with any countries you may be passing through to see if a transit visa is necessary.
