The island of Zakynthos enjoys an exceptionally sunny climate, making it ideal for year-round vacations. Zakynthos enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and mild winters. Annual maximum temperatures range from 14°C in January to 29°C in August. The ideal time to visit Zakynthos is from May to September, when the water temperature remains pleasant for diving. The hottest months are July and August.


LANGUAGE
The official language on Zakynthos is Greek, but many locals also speak English, especially in tourist areas.


CURRENCY
